How do I get money out of my PayPal account?
We offer different ways to get money out of your PayPal account.
Automatic transfers enable you to schedule the withdrawal of your PayPal balance to your bank account at a desired frequency and amount.
To set up Automatic transfers:
- Click Finance.
- Under Wallet, click Money.
- Click More Actions.
- Select Set up Auto Transfers.
- Select which bank account, the frequency, and the amount, and follow the instructions.
You can set a minimum balance to ensure that there’s sufficient money in your account for refunds, purchases, etc.
Here's how to make an Instant Transfer to your eligible card or bank account (subject to a fee):
- Click Transfer Money below your PayPal balance.
- Select in minutes.
- Follow the instructions.
Here’s how to make a Standard transfer to your bank account or eligible card:
- Click Transfer Money below your PayPal balance.
- Select in 1-3 days (No fee).
- Follow the instructions.
To make a transfer to your eligible debit
card or bank account on the app:
If you selected Instant Transfer, you should see the money in your bank account in minutes, but this timeframe may vary depending on the bank. If you don’t see the money in your bank account after 30 minutes, contact your bank for more information. Our team members can’t change the status of your transfer.
The Standard transfer to your bank typically completes in 1 business day, but depending on your bank's clearing process, it may take 1 to 3 business days. Keep in mind that holidays aren't business days.
Standard transfers to your eligible debit card take approximately 48 hours.
Here's how to request a check (timeframe: 5-10 business days):
- Click Transfer Money below your available balance.
- Click Check by mail ( $1.50 USD applies).
- Enter the amount you want to transfer (the minimum is $1.51 USD).
- Click Next.
- Review your transfer details, then click Request (amount) Now.
- Click Done.
All transfers are subject to review and could be delayed or stopped if we identify an issue.
